Sorry to hear that you're having issues connecting with the Destiny servers. So, Bungie has some instructions for helping on troubleshooting that may help you, they're at [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11930]bungie.net/networking[/url] you'll find the instructions via there. As for returning your Destiny copy, if that's the route you wish to go, you will have to talk to your retailer that you purchased your copy from about their return policies. Bungie doesn't handle the transactions directly, that's your retailer.

  • Well, just to let you guys know but after installing the new hot fix update, I can't go more than 5 seconds after a log in before getting the "contacting destiny servers" message. And I'm getting a whole bunch of weasel, anteater, and currant error messages. I'd love it if a hot fix for these server drops was released.

  • sorry but you sir are an idiot "And yes bungie, I have tried turning my console off and on again and doing a hard reset plus all the other useless troubleshooting steps you can eat!" my exact words congrats your parents must be proud

  • It is absurd and its not even mentioned in the latest patch, crotas end has had drastic nerfing yet they can't get the game working properly for the ones who have been complaining for four months that it is not a home network problem, that's four months they have had to 'investigate' and not a word on any progress. I doubt they have anything valuable and incisive for us to even hang on to.

  • I think its pretty poor customer care for Bungie to just tell people to take the game back to the retailer if they are having problems. I am getting constant "contacting destiny servers" errors, and am then kicked out of the game world or even to the home screen sometimes, every time its a different "animal". This happens every few minutes sometimes, then other days not at all (but never happens when playing cruicible for some reason). This issue seems like its at least in part Bungie's responsibility, and it also seems like a great many people are experiencing them, to be told to just take the game back if thats what you want is really poor form. Its also incredibly frustrating to see forum post after forum post being responded to just telling folk to go to the help/networking pages, none of these fixes are working. My network is fine, I can play all other games fine. That is all.
