Why do you people think bungie needs to do anything? I read endless post after post like you think bungie is at fault for a ddos attack. Bungie doesn't exist to kiss our ass and not spend time with their loved ones around the holidays.
We spent sixty bucks most of us have hundreds of hours into this game I would say you get a damn good return on a product at this point.
I will gladly go to a subscription based payment with destiny if it clears the community out, the community is turning it into a total pile of crap.

Didn't say they needed to, was a open question you fool

You are a jerk. Extending xur is no work at all for bungie. You are acting like its a all hands on deck kind of a problem. I'm sure everyone at bungie will have to be ripped away from their families to extend xur a day or two. It's their dumb mechanic and if things go wrong they can do something to help out the people who supports them. Many many games have done similar when it comes to timed events that don't go smoothly.

Its called customer service. They don't have to but I'm glad they're going to.

I'm not a jerk I think of things like a person who runs a successful business. Why would I pay a server admin team to change one weekends worth of settings due to another companies issue? I wouldn't extending xur one more day especially in the "worst weapon ever week" deemed by our peers. It will not have an impact on immediate or future revenue by extending xur one more day. 5 years from now when a new bungie title launches will you honestly look back and say "I'm going to buy game X because they took care of me by leaving an online merchant on another day." I work and have worked for some of the biggest technology companies, manufacturer's and service providers in the world and it makes zero sense when your customers are impossible to please. What they should be spending more time on is stability fixes and or more features to make some of the annoyances go away. Make sense why I stayed my previous reply?

Bearbeitet von Zgoldenlion: 12/27/2014 7:43:09 PMSure but I still stand by other companies in similar situations make exceptions for the people that get screwed for things out of their control. I had a chance to get on last night and upgrade my Hawkmoon. But I know a lot of people have had no luck for 2-3 days now and leaving xur up would be a great way to show they don't want half the community screwed over ddos attacks. Anyway bungie 100% has to rely on psn and xbl so it's their problem too. The more this happens the more people trade in the game or just quit logging I'm sure they would like us all to buy the next DLC so I'd say its Sonys network but it is bungies problem too.

It's not BUNGIE's fault, however it would build some confidence back. Rockstar did something similar with GTAV

60$ for a broken game. Hours of repetitive play. Not seemly worth it to me, but maybe you like to blow your money on crap. To each their own I suppose

Your making a big deal out of it lol, it's a vendor that sells a few exotics, your trying to say it's just a game.... seems like you shold read your comment again

I wouldn't go as far as saying subscription based, then people would just feel even more entitled and blame bungie if something is wrong with Sony or Microsoft servers and the Destiny servers
