if you are for or against state why.
bungie has formally stated they will never and have no intentions of implimenting one, but maybe if enough of the forum pop agrees or disagrees they could in a perfect world listen.
I believe there should be. not for the players or to fix the shitty loot system, but for bungie to keep it's gamers. From a PR standpoint your loot system is flawed, and you have no intent on changing it, so let the players fix it by letting them trade. the game is at a point where there is little to no real world value on raid gear or loot if you are saying there's no trade for RWT prevention.

1 AntwortenIf they do implement a trade system I'm pretty sure they wouldn't allow trading of exotics or raid gear

Bearbeitet von Caineghis88: 11/4/2014 12:31:56 AMI personally wouldn't mind a trading system because.... 1: I'm a mature and intelligent adult. How is being an intelligent adult relevant? Well because a huge chunk of this player base aren't. What do I mean? Children..... There's a plethora of children that play this game who are a less intellectually evolved (in their own right) vs an 18+ An 18 year old will be able to scam a 12 year old every single time simply because the child's mind is still developing and will fail to grasp something as complex as an in-game economy and thus become a scammer's prey. Remember that bungie wanted this game to be accessible to children (This game is rated T) so adding a complex mechanic like trading will hurt and drive away that huge chunk of the player base made up of children. The ammount of children made "I got scammed threads" would fill the front pages of this forum. This will result in the trading system being nurfed by limiting what you can and cannot trade which will effectively piss off the legit mature audience as well including myself. I'm sure bungie knows this so if they do decide to implement a trading system it would come with a limit already built in just like most things in this game is limited. Again I would love a trading system but when I look at the big picture, it's a bad idea
-
I'm someone that would benefit a lot from the trading system, but I'm against it, simply because it'd make getting the thing you want a lot less rewarding, and a lot less challenging, the idea is to make it really difficult to accomplish everything, and trading would just make it easier
-
1 AntwortenAgainst. Without it, people aren't hoarding items trying to see why they can get for them. Adding it would simply lead to a slippery slope o more complaints. "Not enough vault space!" "I got scammed" "_______ shouldn't be worth that much!!" "You didn't earn that ______!"
-
If they allow in game trading then we will have even more people being carried. It will also be just a matter of time before someone finds an exploit on how to dupe items. I can already see ways it could happen. So I vote no to trading.

2 AntwortenIT WOULD BECOME WoW

Doesn't matter to me.

5 AntwortenBearbeitet von Wolf Fange e3: 11/3/2014 11:53:08 PMRunescape style would fit this perfectly as long as there's limits as to what you can trade. Example exotic or some raid gear. Because trading raid gears a good idea to extent but it would be wrong just it give someone a hole set. So imagine you could trade one gear every one raid. so if you don't get that gear but your friend Did who doesn't need it, you can trade something they need like shards for a legend like a legend for a legend. That's my idea tho I mostlikly missing a few things leaving loop holes but the ideas there.

1 Antwortenno for me. trading leads to duping.
-
1 AntwortenMy bother loves the game and I have 2 vex mithoclast.. I would love to give him one if I could do it.
-
Yes trading makes everything more valuable.
-
1 AntwortenWe are supposed to saving the universe together right? adding a trade system makes perfect sense... if your loot system is gonna random... then why shouldn't I be to trade... I get gear for warlocks and hunters all the time! Oh wait I'm a Titan! I shouldn't have to make another character I'll trade the gear with a player who actually can use it.. rather than break it down or catch dust in a vault... and yes ppl will find someway to exploit a trading system just like they do every other part of the game lol it's an unstoppable force adding trading would drive tons of players to continue grinding.
-
Bungie its very simple just make the trading only work by exotic only for an exotic, rare for only a rare, common for only a common, farmed materials for farmed materials, ascendant materials for ascendant materials. I cant think of a way gamers could cheat this. #bungie
-
2 AntwortenI think there should be a trade system to an extent. Keep in mind if a trade system was added, values would have to be added to weapons. Exotics for ex would cost like 30000 glimmer Legendaries 17500... Etc Make it like Runescape i guess? If you want someones Hawkmoon but dont have enough glimmer trade 2 legendaries or something. Thats my take.
-
Friends only and rarity for rarity, yes. No trading for currency, because inflation is a problem in every economy, real life or in game.
-
Trading would be useful, especially between friends. The trade should be proportional. A legendary for a legendary, an exotic for an exotic.
-
Im all up for it as long as you cannot trade raid gear or exotics, because that would just break the game..
-
No, it could have a catastrophic impact on the game. And no, I will not go into to detail as to why, there are plenty of examples where implementing trading absolutely destroys a game. Let the hate flow, I couldn't care less.

1 Antwortentrading would add a complexity to the way the game operates and would frankly create an environment in which I would want to play it. Everybody who is against trading is a dumb fuq considering that they don't have to trade if they don't want to, and that it would make it possible for low level scrubs such as themselves to get decent gear
-
I would prefer the loot system actually be fixed as opposed to trading. Trading will bring up a whole slew of new problems when the source is the loot system
-
No. I don't want an easy way to get weapons. I would have almost every exotic because of my friends getting ones they don't use or want, and getting 2 of the same one. This would not keep players, it would make them get bored and leave more
-
Trading with people on your friends list, my friend has 4 icebreakers that he doesn't need.
-
Yeah but they won't, because a "trade system" does doesn't not comply with activision/bungie business, just look at the dlc there are items like exotic weapons that are going to be exclusive so if you want them you will need to give them more money, With the trade system everybody could trade those items without paying anything...
-
Trading would create a friendly environment. It would be you and your fireteam against the bad guys. The way it is now, it's you against the world. If this game is meant for cooperation, you should be able to help out other players.
-
3 AntwortenThere would need to be restrictions as to what could be traded. normal items could be traded, ascendant materials would need to be exchanged for something equivalent, same for exotics and legendary items. Raid legendary's would require proof that you've beaten the raid on the difficulty needed or else you won't be eligible to recieve it. I.e. Atheon's Epilogue requires you beat normal before trading, fate bringer requires you beat hard, etc. If there would be a trading system, thats about how it'd have to work.
