Me and my friend played a game of clash. I was 23/10, he was 18/8. We got nothing.
This random in the game going 7/8 , who actually contributed to the enemy team by giving them more kills than he got, got a blue engram and an exotic fusion rifle.
WHAT THE F**K BUNGIE?
Why do we get nothing for doing the best on the team and contributing the most to the win?
But the people who do the worst get the best items?

The game works like the US's current mentality. Stay mediocre and be rewarded, instead of striving to be the best and reap the rewards. Mediocrity is rewarded, instead of excellence...

I've had those moments where I stopped and thought, maybe I should go AFK, at least ill get something. Also been one of the top players for the round and had the entire team get nothing but the guy that literally just joined before the round ends with 0 kills and he gets a Legendary. That's just the sweet, sweet pain of RNG.

Their would be no reason for bad players to play for fun if just the best players got rewards. For instance I would never do the crucible if I didn't have a chance to get something. the amount of crucible players would go down exponentially and getting a game at all would be a slow process if they removed the randomness from the crucible. I think people need to play for fun in the crucible and if you get something good for you, if not suck it up buttercup.

Life's unfair

As far as crucible goes? Yeah I think there should be incentive to do better. If your bad they should get legendary engrams and the exotics should be awarded to someone in the top 3 ALWAYS. But like how I put like 200 hours into destiny and have very little beside what xur sells and the exotic bounties to show for it but yet some guy who plays once a week for an hour gets the exotic(not going to say which one it is) I want and still doesn't play. It's not a rewarding feeling and doesn't motivate me to do anything. Bungie screwed up with their loot system.
