Did you try deleting your xbox game cache? A lot of people said that fixed their problems with farm animals?

Pardon me how do you do that? I have xbox one but I only get the cattle error at or around 11pm est everyday and random during the day

I am not sure I have a ps3 but I had that problem on the 360 a while back. Google search clear cache on xbox one and you will definitely find an answer my friend

Oops sorry I misread your post

How do I know it fixed a lot of peoples problems? I read the the help forums daily to try and keep up with fixes just incase something happens to mine again. Be prepared for the day that if it comes you are prepared and then pray it never does.

Clearly I have offended the bungie God in some way to be punished thus. It's not even funny anymore....

I swear I'm not the bungie god in just a mischievous one

I'll take any God that can make the damn thing work....or can at least tell me whether I'm banging my head against a brick wall. Come on #bungie

Yep, cleared cache, cleared storage, alternated MAC address, contacted ISP, contacted Microsoft, reinstalled and uninstalled a dozen times, deleted my account from my Xbox and re-added it. Tried every fix even rumoured on the forum. My hardware is fine, my connection is fine. I had a level 20 hunter and was enjoying the game and 20hrs playtime. I just want to know if a) there is a significant problem that is long term b)is a fix on the way c) should I cut my losses and find something else to do rather than click A button every 5 mins, hope, and then stare at a blank screen.

This one guy created a static ip and ran his DNS through Google and that cleared everything up for him...did you try that? I know I'm grasping at straws but I was getting the cattle error on the ps3 after the patch and I created a static ip and it solved my problems

I was at the stage where I'd try anything, but I'm just disillusioned now. My game was fine, and now it's not. I've not changed my hardware, my connection is the same...... All I want is an acknowledgment that there is an issue, and that's it being worked on. Every other issue has had at least one comment from bungie master, but this. The help screen suggests my hardware is at fault...but I know it isn't #bungiehelp
