I welcome you to peruse any of the archived Halo forums and see how much of a shithole they were.

Nowhere near as bad as this.

Seriously though, I've been active on the gaming forums here since Halo 2. It's always been this bad. THIS bad. How bad this is, is bad as it once was. The Destiny forums are not the extreme, not the exception, and not special. This is typical.

Bearbeitet von Capt Explodabob: 9/30/2014 5:07:26 AMI've been reading the weekly updates and glancing at the forums since 2007, a few months before Halo 3. In all honesty, the forums were never this bad to my recollection. It got pretty bad during Reach, when they changed everything, and when I decided to jump in and make my first post, but it was never so much as this: http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/70865947/0/0 A post was made before to highlight the recent reddit thread and was promptly jumped on by Deej to which the 7C jumped down his throat. As far as I can tell, Deej has pulled the post. I have never seen it this bad in the last seven years.

I disagree. Hell, the forums were this bad even during the Halo 3 beta. As for Halo 2, the hate was so popular that a site came out of it: Halo2sucks.com, which stayed up to date with every single change to the game and remarks made by Bungie. Frankie threw around the term "Waaaambulance" in regards to the cycle of complaining during Halo 2's prominence. People love to hate, the angriest speak loudest, controversy sparks posts, and those that have no problems don't make topics. It was always be this bad and it will always be that way.
