Actually yes you can. For a professional established company getting ddos is unacceptable and incompetent. That is only acceptable to the average streamer or home network player.

Are there any ways to protect yourself against DDoS other than having a bunch of backup nodes? I have no idea really, but I'm assuming that the only way would be to switch IP:s around, which would just move the DDoS target to whatever hands the clients their new server IPs. Can't be easy to protect yourself 100% against this sort of stuff is all I'm saying. If it were, they would have done it already. I mean, not even PSN is safe (or pretty much any other service).
