I'm certain this post has already been made hundreds of times before, but the lack of ability to communicate in-game is near game-breaking. The fact that we have to rely on outside sources to LFG/PUG for Weekly Heroic Strikes or, currently, Queen's Wrath Kill Missions, just showcases the void. If I want to find someone in the game, the way Bungie intended, to run these, I don't even know how I'd do that. I can't meet people in Strikes, because people on Strikes can't communicate unless they're on the same Fireteam. I'm not going to go around randomly inviting people to my Fireteam while running Patrols because that's just obnoxious. I know 1 single person IRL who plays Destiny on my platform, and I've played with him a few times and it's been fun, but our schedules are very much not the same. As a result, I'm now lvl 26, and he's still around lvl 13. How, Bungie (not that I'm actually asking Bungie), am I supposed to do this? How am I supposed to go about grouping for Weekly Heroic Strikes in the way that you intended? I can't communicate with members of my Clan outside the website. I can't formally invite them to my Fireteam to [Insert Objective Here] (which would be useful). No, I have to use the Destiny app on my tablet and cross my fingers that someone is paying attention in one of the Community sections, or I have to use www.destinylfg.com - the latter of which is more useful than any of the official, recommended methods. Co-op is great, but give me the means to communicate. I don't want to hear all the d-bags in the zone at once, with their open mics picking up music in the background or their kids crying or them yelling at their girlfriends, so I'm glad that isn't the means of communication. But figure it out and give us SOMEthing.
