I don't know why the gamestop link should satisfy your answer here when this is in the description for it.

Since they cant sell Xbox Games digitally, they sell the Currency used to purchase the Digital Game so there is an opportunity to sell Both Access to the game and pre-Order Bonuses. its a slightly less official process than what Sony is doing. For Sony, you are Purchasing a Card with a Code on it of Equal Value of the Game, that can only be used for the game + Pre-Order Bonuses. For Xbox, you are Purchasing a Card with a Code on it of Equal Value of the Game, that can be spent on anything on the Xbox MarketPlace + Pre-Order Bonuses. The fact that Best Buy has been doing the same thing for weeks, Handing out Microsoft Currency Cards to people who had their Pre-Orders Canceled, so they can Purchase the Digital Guardian Edition (Link) And now GameStop is Officially selling Microsoft Currency + Pre-Order Bonuses for the Digital Guardian EDition, is confirmation enough for me that there will be a Digital Guardian Edition for the Xbox One. Information that Retailers have had, which hasnt been openly advertised. I changed my Pre-Order Yesterday. I ask the Gamestop employee, at first he said No, only because he wasnt up to date. After informing him about the Changes on the site, He confirmed that they are taking Pre-Orders for the Digital Guardian Edition on the X1

So do you get to keep your gamestop pre-order bonuses? What about the Vanguard Armory? They giving you an extra code for that?

they will give me lots of Codes. 1 to download game with and a bunch of Bonuses. since I pre-orded in a store and will pick it up in a store, they will print it out just as they do it for every other game with bonuses. http://www.gamestop.com/xbox-one/games/destiny-digital-guardian-edition/116873

No, they wont give a code to download the game with. They'll give you a code worth $90 of credit. That's what the website says.
This is a purchase of Xbox LIVE currency. You may redeem the currency for the content shown or for other
And that's my point.. if they aren't ACTUALLY selling you THE GAME.. how can you be sure of anything you're getting? The Vanguard armory? It's my understanding that the code for that is packed in the game box, not on a receipt. So how would you get that? When you do redeem it, what's the time table for release? Are you telling me that GameStop knows for a fact that you can download at 9am CST, but Bungie, Activision and Microsoft aren't saying that because... why? I think you're crazy to bet on this horse given Gamestop's history of accuracy on these things and how little Bungie/Activision/Microsoft have ACTUALLY said. CRAZY. Don't get me wrong.. I think you'll be able to turn that credit into an Xbox copy of Destiny.. and even get the pre-order bonus sparrow.. but beyond that you don't actually know anything about the timing or what you do and do not get with that. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if they made you purchase the expacks and the game separately if you do that, so you're not truly getting the DGE.
