You know what I want? A real game manual.
Some of us are old enough to remember when games back in the 80's came with this small paper back book inside the box called a "game manual". It had instruction on how to play, advanced instructions on game settings, concept art, and the premiss of the story. I used to LOVE getting those.
It's sad I might have to pay extra for the collector's addition just to get something we used to get for free.

Bungie's last game (Halo: Reach, 2010) had one, so their is hope.

Do you mean the journal because he wasn't talking about that type of book. In the old games there used to be a pamphlet you could read through that told you what buttons did, where places where, and other things that dealt with the game.

Just like the ODST gaming manual ( the huge book)

I am talking about the little paper packet. Besides, that Journal only came with the Legendary and Heroic versions of the game, so it would be a bad example.

Hahaha, I usually never read them, but I definitely see this being a good item to put it.

Donky Kong Country for SNES had a great manual. It even had room for notes!
