Smaller towns like mine aren't equipped to handle icy roads. So we just shut everything down lol. The roads never got bad anyway.

I still find it fascinating how the saying "Don't mess with Texas" came about when water is their mortal enemy. It's like cats.

Oh no, flooding is fine, but we don't buy (or sell, really) tires designed for even a quarter inch of ice, and nobody owns tire chains. There are no snowblowers, nothing to clear the roads, just a thin blanket that you are not equipped to handle.
