And how many of these people are going to vote Republican instead? Oh that's right, even less, because Obama isn't their preferred candidate but to them he is significantly better than his opposition. Hence why millennials vote Obama in overwhelming numbers because they have no other choice as the GOP has been -blam!-ing crazy since 2010.

Why the hell don't more people vote Libertarian?
-
Because libertarians either don't appeal to people, associate themselves too much with the GOP, or are too extreme economically? Youth care about social issues a lot, and while libertarians do appeal to them in this regard, their economic policy is really bad. Like worse than GOP bad. Hence why millennials are liberals; the social aspect of libertarianism without the shoehorned economic bullshit that normally comes with it.

It's much better than the Liberal's. Pure capitalism and encouraging competition among businesses makes way more money than taxing the shit out of people and wasting government money left and right. Economic policy is what makes Liberals so retarded.

The town I'm in didn't even have a third party candidate choice during election times.
-
Your town must suck. My town had like five.
-
It's a very small town. The only choices were Democrat (Which was much smaller than the Republican choice) and Republican. Oh, the amount of jimmies rustled when the students at the UC decided to get politically active and shifted the vote to 53% Democrat was way too much for about 2 weeks, and even still today in this town.

You need to elaborate more on this, it sounds interesting.

Bearbeitet von Section Ratio General: 12/5/2013 7:57:19 AMMy town's majority is white, and in a very rural area that is heavily religious, they tend to vote conservative/republican. However, since the UC was constructed (Sometime before I went into high school, about 4-5 months before I entered), there has been a slow increase of people voting democrat. This was in 2006 when I entered high school. In 2012, however, the majority of the town voted democrat mainly because of the people in the community college and the UC. A lot of the students in general voted for Obama this upcoming election. There has been quite a number of students that are in the middle or like Obama while a minority of students dislike Obama in the community college. I'm not going to get into the UC though, since the UC is pretty much liberal leaning, if not a liberal university. Edit: I'm talking about my specific town. The county is much different, but even then, the majority in each city in the county is white. I've been to pretty much each town in the county, and I really can't get about a half mile down the road without spotting a church at a corner. The county itself is also very religious and conservative leaning.

What happened with the butthurt?

A lot of people that didn't attend the UC or the community college were really angry for about 2 or so weeks before they simmered down. Even then, they still are very negative, and when even mentioning Obama's name, or even his title, I'll probably expect a tirade that I'll be paying half attention to at the most, if not at all. I'm considered a fanboy of Obama compared to many people in this town, and I consider myself to be in the middle of the political spectrum. Hell, last time I got into a political discussion with someone who said he voted Republican, it ended up with him calling me a queer and my kind should end up getting deported so he can get a job. It didn't even start with a political discussion, I think. My friend and I were talking about Warhammer 40k while playing Mortal Kombat before the guy came in and tried to talk about Warhammer with us while not really knowing what he was saying.
