I have been wondering whether or not Jupiter will be a location in Destiny, knowing that its unconfirmed, do you think that they just aren't finished with their designs for the giant planet? or will it be the exclusive content for the PlayStation gamers?

Jupiter's moon, Titan, will be a playable space :)

not logical for us actually visit juipiter but a moon of jupiter would be a nice location. jupiter is a gas planet so i dont think there is an actual surface. but his is science fiction so they could come up with an excuse for there to be living organisms there. that being said i dont think we will see jupiter but hopefully on of her moons wiil be in the game.

Its a gas giant.

As far as I know Jupiter has a gravity that's over 300 times higher than the Earth's gravity. So I can hardly imagine, how we should be able to step foot on Jupiters surface without being killed, even if the mankind in Destiny was able to terraform Mars and Venus. But unless I'm much mistaken there are some concepts about Europa, one of Jupiters moons. It has a completley frozen surface with a gigantic ocean underneath it. This could be a far more 'realistic' and interesting location, than Jupiter itself. I think of gigantic ice caverns and underwater cities.

Jupiter moons are the closest your going to get to setting foot on the Gas Giant. There is even concept art out showing a base half covered by what appears to be snow with Jupiter showing off in the sky.

Playing on Jupiter would be some really heavy space magic.

Well what about other planets like Uranus or Pluto? They haven't said a whole lot about that.

1 AntwortenNot sure how that would work, considering Jupiter is made entirely of gas

5 AntwortenThere is no exclusive content for Playstaion they just get some of it early and its not anything that would deeply impact gameplay. Europa one of Jupiter's moons might be a location or maybe a derelict spaceship or spacestation orbiting Jupiter, but Jupiter and the other Gas Giants for that matter will not be a locations for Destiny simply because they lack a well defined solid surface.

1 AntwortenEuropa will most likely be a playable location. Here's some concept art.
