100% real virtual worlds seems like a psychological nightmare. I'm sure eventually one would lose touch of what reality is, what life is, etc etc.

Nah... I'm sure people would find a way to assure you that you will know the difference. :p

What if we're all in a virtual universe as we speak? If humans are capable of virtual reality, whos to say we hadn't already created one and we are within it rn? You cant really tell. #matrix

I believe there is another form of existence outside of our current dimension. So, either way, you can't really lose by dying imo lol

Bearbeitet von Doodling Hitman: 8/26/2013 7:12:48 PMI believe that too. But I would never commit suicide. If hell does exist you will be sent there if you commit suicide because you are selfish and whatnot. I'm not saying it is true.. I am just not taking any risks. I'll just wait to die of old age, accidents or diseases. :p

haha amen.

Oh.. One more thing.. Do you believe NASA is actualy making a warspeed machine? It would be neat to live up to the day we create warpspeed, lol. Visiting other planets and such.. Lightyears away. :0 PS: G2G :/
-
It depends on what you mean by warpspeed. If you mean traveling super duper fast, no. If you mean by bending space, maybe. But to give you my personal opinion on contacting other civilizations, I think any contact in our life time will be by spiritual enlightenment, by the speed of thought via pure consciousness achieved by meditation :) I believe advanced civilizations don't physically travel any where, I think they've mastered leaving the body and manifesting their spirit wherever they imagine. This also explains the insane amount of orbs of light ufo sightings imo, they're interdimmensional beings, not a spacecraft with physical beings in them like most ppl believe. Sorry for the long post, I enjoy discussing these topics!

That is really weird... I still think that we could meet physical though. I think that if we have warpspeed that we can travel very fast, we could find other earth like planets with atmosphere. Only question remians how much more advanced this other life is, or what kind of life it is, and if they are hostile or not. :p
-
Keep in mind that even if we were to travel at the fastest speed possible, speed of light, it'd still take thousands of years to reach the closest solar system. Unless we create life extension tech first, it isn't probable. I don't think a civilization advanced enough to travel galaxies can even be hostile. Idk... Do you think an aggressive society is even capable of reaching such an advanced state of civilization? I think a fundamentaly enlightened species with inherent virtue and morality, who're light years beyond the concept of hostility towards other life, can achieve inter stellar travel. :) With that being said, the human species is far from being "ready" to reach out to other civilizations IMO.

I have no idea what you just said in the 2nd paragraph.. I'm not smart ya know? Hahah! But.. Humans don't care if they are ready or not. If we have warpspeed we will travel through SPACE! Also, within our galaxy there are over a billion.. Let me just show you this > I read this article and found it interesting
