So details have always been sketchy about this subject.

Would you guys play Destiny on PC? I really hope it comes to PC as I won't be buying any of the next gen consoles. Bungie have remained tight lipped on the subject.
What does everyone else think?

Negative, i have a strict gaming console for that i also have a Mac for school and a PC to screw around on as well as exclusive games for be prepared, be very prepared to get flamed and trolled
-
If i could afford one sure.

My computer is a brick. It barely runs Microsoft Word. So, no.
-
I said no because im tired of the same threads about Destiny on th pc, begging for it wont make it come faster.
-
"Would you buy Destiny on PC?" Of course. 1.- I have a kick ass PC gaming rig. I'm not going to spend any money on nextgen consoles (at least in the near future). I can handle any game at 1080p/60gps at highest quality. 2.- Most of my gamer friends play on PC. 3.- I prefer to play shooter games with keyboard and mouse.

I know that ppl here are console players and prefer console but i dont have a console and i would like to see PC version if it comes out on PC i would pre-order it and start testing it to help BUNGIE make it true!

3 AntwortenI just don't see Destiny as a PC game. To me it looks like a console shooter, through and through.

26 AntwortenI'm curious to know why people are voting no.

Once it's made, yes I will.

I think the question should have been worded " For those that game on PC, would you buy Destiny if there was a PC release?" I think there may have been a different response on the poll. Personally, i game on all systems, console, pc, handheld, etc, and I would get it on PC as well as the consoles. I'm just wondering how many people answered the poll who don't game on PC at all, or very rarely. Just my 2¢.

Bearbeitet von UphillMercury: 11/14/2013 9:20:49 PMI would, for several reasons. 1. I've got a 360 now, and will probably be getting Destiny for the 360 (depending on how much money I have between now and when Destiny releases). There will eventually come a point where Destiny is no longer made or supported for the 360 (given that Destiny is supposed to last for many years). 2. Users of the 360 will be unable to play with Xbox One users, due to the hardware constraints of the 360. Obviously, connectivity is a non-issue with a PC, and the game is only constrained by the limits of your PC. 3. The Xbox One has no backwards compatibility, making upgrading an expensive affair. I'd have no issues at all on console if Destiny wasn't going to last as long as it is. While I certainly enjoy playing on consoles, I'd prefer to play a game that will spend years in the spotlight on a platform that will last just as long.

Not for me my controller is like 5000 years old

Bourkey, As others had pointed out it was how you asked the question that is getting the no answers. I, like you, have a powerful PC, primarily because my main hobby is graphics, and if I can buy a game I like the look of to run on PC I will. (Original Halo; Halo Racing; NWN, DDO, Aion). I would love to buy Destiny to play on the PC; however even though Bungie has not categorically said "NO" for all time; I really don't see a commitment from them to do so even though other game developers include a PC version for their games. I however will not go out and buy a gaming console just so I can play a particular game. I will probably buy Elder Scrolls Online if it comes out before a release of Destiny for PC. May the strength of the wolf be with you ....

You should have titled this,.."Would you support the possibility of Destiny being released for PC?"

1 AntwortenBearbeitet von PRIME v2: 11/14/2013 9:05:58 AMIm mostly a console gamer (except steam casuals) and i want Destiny on PC! Everyone should experience this game! If u vote NO out of spite or ignorance then you should re-evaluate why we game in the first place...TO HAVE FUN! Ps, I'll be playing Destiny on Xbox One...
-
No. Why? 1. Destiny is made to be played with friends (IMO). Barely any of my friends play on PC. 2. I don't really know WHY, but in general I see Destiny as a console experience rather than a PC one. The game just screams to me "play me on a PS4... Not a PC". Perhaps it's the fact that a game like Destiny with massive exploration, detail and size needs a big screen. There are just some games I want for my PC and some my PS4 (when it comes) when the next gen titles start rolling out.
-
If I had more PC gamer friends, sure. But Destiny looks super cooperative, so probably not.
-
I am hoping for PC. I would preorder it tomorrow if they announced it.

1 AntwortenPC > consoles

Would I want to... Yes Will it happen...
No
1 AntwortenMy theory: Bungie won't release their games on PC since Halo 3. It's because of the modders and the hackers. :/
-
1 AntwortenYup. Even if the console gamers won't buy it for pc, I see no reason why they wouldn't want the community to be bigger.. All the pc/console bias isn't a thing anymore, well maybe between the immature. Lets bare in mind as well that the game is rumoured to be cross platform servers/saves. The more the merrier! I'd buy the game on pc simply because i don't want to buy a console id never use, and i have a pc.. so yeah, it's only logical
-
1 AntwortenNope. Will happily play on my PS4
-
4 AntwortenI would if I had a much better PC... but because I don't, no.
-
Hell yes! Activision ports most of their games, so the real question is how long it will take for them to port it well.
-
3 AntwortenI'm not sure how to answer this. If there were to be no barrier between systems in Destiny (Xbox can play with PC, PC with PS4, PS4 with Xbox) then I'm sure I would play it on PC. However, since most of my friends who will be getting Destiny don't have gaming rigs, it seems that a console is the best place to get it for me. So far, in my own opinion, no amount of exclusive new features that come with a specific platform can overpower the experience of getting a bunch of guys in the same room and playing games with each other. True to what Bungie has been saying, Destiny is a game where you will want to be connected with people, and I'll play it on the platform that offers the best connection with friends.
