Because we shouldnt have high people driving or just walking the streets.

That could still be a crime if drugs were legal. Also, why not walking down the streets? As long as they aren't harming anyone else who cares? You're free on public property.
-
So why is public intoxication illegal?
-
The fact that tyranny exists is not an argument. A crime should consist of harm, a drunk being obnoxious in public isn't causing harm, the moment they do, or ANYONE, then they should be stopped.

[quote]The fact that tyranny exists is not an argument. There is no tyranny. Stop overreacting. You can leave anytime you like.
-
I'd rather stay and make the country better. And telling someone what they can and can't do with their body is indeed tyranny.
-
We should have drunk people driving or walking down the streets. Alcohol is legal.
-
We also have tests for people who drink and drive. Or people who are publicly drunk.
-
Any reckless driver should be stopped, no matter what they put in their body.
-
BUT THATS TYRANNY!
-
-
So why not for drugs then?
-
you just going to bring anyone to the police station for a piss test if they appear high? Theres been plenty of times ive been tired and everyone was like, wow how much did you smoke? Its almost impossible to tell the difference between being high and being tired.
-
So then why is being high bad if it's just like being tired?
-
I never said it was bad.
