Since you’re on PC and this just started recently, please try the following steps in order: Verify your game files on your platform (Steam/Epic/Microsoft Store) to rule out any corrupted files. Update your graphics drivers (NVIDIA/AMD/Intel) and make sure Windows is fully up to date. Temporarily disable all overlays and capture tools (Discord/Steam overlay, NVIDIA GeForce Experience, AMD ReLive, MSI Afterburner, Rivatuner, Xbox Game Bar, etc.) and close any unnecessary background apps. If you’re overclocking your GPU/CPU/RAM, try running everything at stock settings and launch Destiny 2 again. Try launching the game in Windowed or Windowed Fullscreen and with reduced video settings just to see if it gets past the point where it normally stops.
