Please forgive the bluntness of this explanation. I’ve already submitted a form that got ignored so I’m pretty tired of the situation.
Had Cross Save enabled on multiple platforms
Wanted to link and authorise a different Steam account so disabled Cross Save in order to do this
Decided to just use my Epic account instead
Waited the 90 days(!?) to re-enable Cross Save
Linked and authorised my Epic account successfully
Can’t continue with Cross Save unless I re-authorise my Steam account, but this is account is now deleted so I can’t log in to it
Can’t un-link my Steam account and thus can’t continue with Cross Save at all
What do I do in this situation? I literally just need my PlayStation and Epic accounts linked and authorised. I want to get rid of the Steam issue altogether but I can’t see any way in which to do this without being able to access the account.

Unfortunately it looks like you're stuck, if you've had the Steam account deleted. As of March 2025 it is no longer possible to unlink platform accounts. Bungie are not making exceptions to this policy, nor will they unlink any accounts on their end under any circumstances. Then as you've seen, that stops you from setting up cross-save again because it requires all linked accounts to be authenticated. If Steam is unable to help restore access to the account, then unfortunately you are blocked from activating cross-save, and there is no workaround or solution currently.
