error WEASEL

I recently purchased a DLC pack for Destiny 2 on Steam, and before the purchase, I was able to play normally. However, after the purchase, I can't get past the game's initial screen, which displays the WEASEL error. I searched the Reddit forums and the Bungie website, but I haven't found a valid solution to my problem. I also don't know if I've been banned, as I haven't found any section on the website that openly discusses whether I've been banned or suspended. I apologize for any errors; I'm using a translator.

  • i may have found the solution to this problem at least it worked for me So what you're gonna wanna do is go to ur settings in windows, then go to "system", then you're going to go to "recovery", then reinstall ur current version of windows with all your (apps, files and settings being preserved) follow the steps from there let it reset ur pc or do it yourself once its done updating/downloading then try launching d2 once its done that should be it hope it works for you
