HELP - Unlinking Steam Account
Hello. I'll try to make this is short as possible.
About 5 years ago when I was playing Destiny on PlayStation, I linked my roommates steam account to my bungie profile so I was able to play Destiny on his PC from time to time with all of my progress from PlayStation. Fast forward 5 years to now, I just bought my first PC and was very excited to play Destiny 2 on it with my own account and all of my progress (~2800 hours). After realizing the changes that took place in March of this year, I was really surprised I'd have to wait 90 days for the cross save to be reenabled. After waiting the 90 days, I STILL was unable to unlink the steam account in which I do not have access to. Is there ANY possible way for me to disable my old roommates steam account that's tied to my profile so I'd be able to link my personal steam account?
Side note, this also screwed me over from playing the Marathon closed playtest because the game wouldn't recognize my steam account after redeeming the playtest code.

Bungie expected people to unlink the accounts within the ~6-7 week period prior to it after they issued the announcements. The code itself is just for the download.
