“Upper Hand” Catalyst not dropping for Praxic Blade
I’ve ran this mission 3 times, following Eso’s guide step-by-step, on legend. The other two catalysts dropped, just not “upper hand”
I am not going to waste 30 minutes running it a 4th time just to record a video for you. If you would like I can link a reddit post with NUMEROUS other people having the same issue.

(PS, it’s been over 5 months and the Tommy’s Matchbook Catalyst quest “a good match” still isn’t progressing either.)

same issue here, forgot to go do the 2 blights outside on my first run, only realized once i was in the last room and the white blights weren't there, finished, got hyperblade. when i re-ran it and did all steps for both hyperblade & upper hand, hyperblade dropped again, upper hand didn't. tried multiple times now, always the same result

I have the same issue. I already have the other two, but upper hand isn't dropping. It'll keep giving me a catalyst I already have unlocked, which is strange, but doesn't help me any. I also tried doing this with a random who hadn't gotten the sword yet, we did it on legend and they got the blade. Then I took them in on a second run for the catalysts, only the taken knights near the beginning didn't spawn, nor did the mini blights spawn after overcharging the light and dark blights in the first blight puzzle. So I could only help them get the catalyst for destroying the 7 mini blights.

15 AntwortenHello there, Thank you for reaching out. We understand that the Upper Hand catalyst isn't dropping, despite you fulfilling the steps for acquiring it. This does sound strange to us. If you continue to experience this, then please consider recording a video of you fulfilling the steps for getting it to drop, but it not dropping. If you record such a video, you can upload it to a site like Youtube, and share a link to it here. We'll then investigate. With regards to A Good Match, if you abandon and reacquire it, are you then able to progress it normally? Let us know, and we'll review.

Same issue. Have tried several times. Blights wont spawn.

1 AntwortenThe issue seems to be that if you do not do the hyperblade and upper hand catalyst puzzles in the same run your first time through it, it locks you of out getting the one you didn't do. Even in future runs. I'm hearing that a possible workaround is to join someone who hasn't done any of the catalysts you can get it from their run.

I'm having the same problem. I've completed it several times from the start. Once without completing all 7 rarities. And another time with all 7 rarities and the mini-boss mechanics, but without catalysts.

My fix was to finish the campaign of two other people and jump right into it. Got mine to drop for me.

Same problem but i got echoing blade and its locked me out of getting the others on legendary difficulty forgive my grammer its 3am BUNGIE FIX YOUR GAME

Same for me, ran it twice, did all the steps, got the message and no upper hand. I got the other two in one run no problem.

Same issue. I just did a run again doing all the necessary requirements for Upper Hand and Hyperblade and Hyperblade dropped again despite me already having it. Very frustrating, especially when the time trial is also required.

All 3 of my team got locked out of it as well, upper hand only. Just fully ran it, it's my last match today before I went to the renegades hub. We ran it one multiple times, failed first, cleared it on second and got two catalysts. Third for upper hand, did all the steps for it, filled the white balls before the final damage phase, got the message saying we got the step done and cleared ads and did the final phase. No catalyst. From reddit saw that the only way to acquire it is to have someone host who has no catalysts and to run through it. I'm not going to attempt that, just what I read.

1 AntwortenI'm having the same issue. I keep doing the steps for both upper hand and hyperblade and am only getting additional drops of hyperblade. Tried separately and didn't get it to drop from that either.
