So I was having the same issue with no reward chest after getting back to the hanger…came across this post and decided to try using my phones hotspot…wouldn’t you know…it worked..and it also fixed whatever issues I had with not being put into social spaces with other guardians..something is up with networking for sure.

I have the same issue and it's not vpn related. so, yeah not fixed. I played this misson 7 or 8 times. this is refund territory. entire campaign unplayable, can't join friends until you beat this and unlock the rest.

I am going to take a guess and say this problem stems from a system issue. I'd really like to get in contact with someone from bungie because I'm a T2 IT support guy as my day job, and I can probably give them the info they need as a tester if they would just tell me where I can get logs and the like.| If you have a secondary system, you can make use of the free D2 trial this week to try it on console. I'm trying that after I get off work today.
