Copied from a previous reply I did in someone's topic last week, [b]Pads in general:[/b] [i]The problem is like me that you possibly "picked up" the data previously. When the Data Pad consistently spawned in the Reclaim Activity which takes you to The Divide in Cosmodrome, if you kept picking it up, then you kept getting "new" lore which then eliminated whatever later ones would be gotten in the activities that have Triumphs attached to them. Someone at Bungie in their infinite wisdom decided to attach the Weekly Triumphs to the Pads Spawning in portal activities, which for some reason get knocked out by TALLY of Lore Collection instead of locking the Lore to each Pad Spawning.[/i] [b]For Avalon:[/b] Due to above, game doesn't know which one you will get that completes the lore book, spawns both pads, but once you picked up the first one, it knocked out the other on backend of data collection as the lore book completed, but kept the pad "physically" spawned, but ignored your "physical" acquirement of the second one. So if you check your lore tab, and see the lore book chapters completed, but all the Weekly Triumphs are locked to the Physical data pad...that you technically collected as you have the data complete. But won't award completion of the Triumphs because someone's snafu in coding that enabled the pad in The Divide to keep spawning after initial pick up. And instead of attaching the lore to the Triumphs instead of the Pads, means they will never complete, locking you out of the bonus XP and Bright Dust.
