For the Pocket Singularity video, this ability does apply volatile, but enemies will only explode when taking additional damage after becoming volatile. Since they weren't damaged again after becoming volatile, no explosion will occur.

Thanks for the explanation. But as far as I know, though not being stated in game, volatile enemies also explode on DEATH even not enough damage are received. This was also stated on the release of void 3.0 by the dev team. I did another testing with the volatile round triggered by grenade kills with gnawing hunger(low single click damage). (video: https://youtu.be/weZb8P_9Tsc). For the pocket singularity, I am just questioning why it does not work the same way as volatile rounds in applying volatile to enemies.
