It really takes some massive self confidence, in light of layoffs, decreasing player numbers, and bug issues to still release Patch Notes that are more nerfs than buffs.
I’m not here to argue over the validity of said nerfs. I understand how they are a necessary evil in the worst case scenarios. But going out of your way to “fix” things given the state of the game, seems like a Pete Parson’s level strategy to retain your current players.
Bungie, do you genuinely think Destiny 2 is incapable of failure, when you continue to slap your community in the face? This game will die by Episode 3 if you aren’t careful.

2 AntwortenI don’t think the developers care anymore. If I still worked for Bungie after this second round of layoffs I wouldn’t care either. Especially seeing as the man ultimately responsible for this situation is still the CEO. The number of things they are letting slip in terms of QA is a symptom of the perpetual mismanagement at Bungie, leading to the decline in productivity of the staff’s work and the quality of their work. As for the nerfs, it’s just another symptom of a lack of proper QA. I don’t care anymore. Solstice is in a deplorable state, the “improvements” to exotic class item acquisition are moronic and another slap in the face to the community and as for the rest of the game, it’s just feeling stale. That last bit is subjective opinion. I think it’s the layoffs and the huge slump it’s caused after a mostly excellent DLC that has led me to feel this way. Bungie need to get their collective 💩 together and then release a roadmap with details of the way forward, otherwise this game is going to be dead along with their studio.
