Let’s go over your complaints shall we?
Threaded Specter: by its own description and design is a decoy. What is the definition of a decoy? A distraction so yes its going to have a radar ping. A trap? Its going to have a damage trigger for those stupid enough to get to close. The recharge rate is quick because thats how Hunter Agility is designed. The higher agility the faster class abilities regen with the fastest being at Tier 6. Hunters can also build into this which Ill get into soon. Much like Titans can build into their naturally strong melees and Warlocks their grenades and rifts. Its already nerfed on damage twice and now its ability to draw away an opponents aim when they aim down sights is nerfed to only taking affect 3 seconds after the Hunter spawns it as opposed to instantly. This here is pretty significant since most Hunters use it to bail from a fight if its getting rough.
Smoke bomb: This is the same smoke from Forsaken so you should have had years of experience dealing, dodging and countering it. Yes it can be annoying to be blinded and slowed but be happy it no longer suppresses your abilities or has the strong poisoning affect it once did. If anything its like the Suppression grenade or flash bang from Titans, a tool for granting an advantage. Now. Youre mad about Hunters getting this back by dodging near an enemy. The Hunter has to literally build into being able to do this by choosing the correct dodge and class item aspects. Not every Hunter will go this route. Its also a double edge sword as the Hunter has to enter melee range for this to activate. Unless you’re completely incompetent you should be more than able to counter this. (I.E. shotgun).
You need to seriously grow up and stop begging for nerfs just cause you get your beat by someone who uses their class better than you do. Real world example: No company is going to willing fire their top sales earner just so you can sell more stock yourself. So stop sniveling like a toddler, and get some private matches in to practice or, try different builds and load outs till you find one that works.

First, you are a dedicated hunter main and your profile picture even has a hunter in it, so you’re clearly operating from a place of bias in your response. You’ll never admit it, but it’s human nature to defend something you enjoy, so that’s pretty much baked in when it comes to your position Second, The decoy is bad to play against mostly because a. It has like 3 different effects at once, which no other ability on another character has that I can think of, ESPECIALLY with that high of an uptime. B. The way it pulls your aim off the target is way too egregious and has no tie in to character identity, as you seem to use in your defense of the ability. And C. The radar ping, when paired with a smoke bomb, is crazy amount of radar manipulation. The aim assist nerf is well met and the radar ping might be reduced in range soon after Third. Smoke bomb pinging is fine, but the linger time, the effective radius of the explosion, and how long the smoke lingers to still blind you after it’s been triggered/destroyed is a lot. And the dodge getting back this ability, while risky, is crazy good and while your answer is “shotgun”, hunters can dodge and use that same weapon to kill you, so that isn’t exactly a strong argument When pairing swarm nades, smoke bombs, clones, and slow dodge, you get incredibly high uptime on radar manipulation, get out of jail free cards, abilities affecting every engagement, area denial and just general bad experience to play against You will still defend it all I’m sure, but people aren’t complaining for no reason. Nerfing is to try and help create less of a bad experience to play against this play-style and more so to make prismatic hunter more balanced. If you’re not in favor of balance, then in my opinion you’re just being selfish and bias to your individual experience without considering others. Bungie needs more people playing PVP. This is why the strike team really came along in the first place. Letting prismatic hunter be this oppressive is not good for player experience or the health of the game. This is why A MILLION nerfs to Titan have happened over the last 2 years and some of them I completely agree with. I agree that trying to find counters to things is important, but there aren’t consistent counters that other classes can respond with that answer all of the things prismatic hunters can do, not even close. The top players in the world have complained about this class, and if they are when they are the best suited/capable of countering it, then it’s definitely an issue because that means both sides of the skill bracket feel the same. Bungie will act on stuff like this 1000% of the time So in closing, the nerfs are just and will be well met by the PVP community outside of people that main it now because no one likes their favorite thing to be nerfed. But these changes and maybe even a couple more in the future will make the class more balanced and that’s better for the players and the long term health of the game. Think about that the next time you make a long post trying to invalidate someone else’s opinion and put their experience solely on them not being good enough at the game. You’re no top PVP player yourself and if you took one minute to stand in someone else’s shoes and looked at the bigger picture, maybe you wouldn’t respond the way you did

Can't wait for Titan or Warlock to get nerfed just as bad so I can say this to you when you start defending something, that all in all, just makes you actually have to think about what you are doing. I'm not gonna sit here and say Threaded Spectre isn't strong, but I'm also not going to sit here and say that insta freeze rift isn't strong, that suspend barricade isn't strong, that Keprhis barricade that can one shot anyways isn't strong. Every class has good options, especially some that requires zero brain power, just get over the fact that you have to think while playing crucible to either shoot the threadings, or that you have to run away from the engagement.
