Hello there,
Unfortunately, this is functioning as intended and cannot be manually overridden.
What actions can limit my use of Cross Save?
The following actions will impact a player’s ability to enable or disable Cross Save:
- Players who disable Cross Save cannot re-enable Cross Save until 90 days after it was disable
- Players who purchase Silver cannot disable Cross Save until 90 days after the Silver was purchased
- Players who perform a refund for purchased Silver cannot activate Cross Save until that Silver is re-purchased for that account
- Players subject to a ban or restriction cannot activate Cross Save, or disable Cross Save if already active, until that ban or restriction has expired
I'll just preform a refund to deactivate the cross save
-
Please note from the policy
- Players who perform a refund for purchased Silver cannot activate Cross Save until that Silver is re-purchased for that account
-
Perfect? If I refund then i'll just pay it back afterwards
-
Wont work, the timer isn't removed once you refund silver
-
wym, if i do, I just won't be able to active cross save until i purchase that amount again. that's what he referred.

Bearbeitet von viiTactiiCZz: 8/6/2024 2:00:44 AMRefunding the silver doesn't remove the cross-save timer. The timer is started from the point the silver was first added, you refunding it doesn't change the time the silver was added, all it does is remove the equivalent amount from your silver balance. As for the 'ill call my local bank', if you're going to go that route for a refund then depending on your platform then: - Steam can/will restrict your account - Xbox can/will perma ban for marketplace fraud until you repay it - PSN can/will suspend your account until its repaid or it can be proven it was a legal chargeback. Unsure about Epic
-
Im just going to call my local bank lol, that works.
-
LOL, GREAT way to get your platform account banned. Most platforms will ban or restrict your account for chargebacks. Bro, you may want to learn to read a bit better, you are trying to break TOS all over the place and some results are irreversible.
-
and if that ever happens, i can just refund the entire thing? there's other outcomes if that happens
-
Refund EVERY game and charge you did to that platform? All because you cannot read the cross save rules? The fraud runs deep with this one.
-
Not a fraud unless you have a valid reason point. Salty but true that youre not able to deny the truth statement that i point pointed, that you're able to chargeback.
-
No, it is fraud. You agreed to terms, and are claiming you did not in order to facilitate a refund. Chargebacks are not valid for your case, you will have to lie to facilitate it.
-
Clearly you don't understand, there is points, what if you're satisfied with the game, and not satisfied with the result and period of long wait times, how the rules are regulated, and wanted to see if there's a one time understanding, private matters, this can all warp around.
-
Not unless you just pay it back right from there and instead of waiting a long period of time, which is ridiculous which should be shorter.
-
Yeah, no. You cant chargeback and then say sike.
-
Not from the game lol, the local bank... local bank is able to do that no matter the cost
-
only way they are doing that is if you claim fraud my guy. You agreed when you made purchase no refunds. Then the platform will ban your account for charge back/fraudlent activity.
-
I don't see that in the rule my boy?
-
banking regulations. call your bank, tell them the truth, you want to charge back because you are not happy with the terms that you agreed to. They will not issue refund. You will have to lie (aka commit fraud) for them to refund you.
-
You do realise the chargeback is against the platform, and not directly Bungie right? it's the platform chargeback rules that apply here. Playstation:
A chargeback, or payment reversal, occurs when a financial institution cancels an existing payment at your request. As a chargeback can indicate you suspect fraud or account take-over, we will suspend your account or console to protect it while we investigate. If there is no lawful reason for the chargeback (e.g. no legal right to a refund), your account will remain suspended until the debt is repaid.
https://www.playstation.com/en-gb/support/account/psn-suspension-account-debt/ Xbox:
A thorough investigation is carried out to determine how the marketplace theft occurred and where the fraud began. If Xbox discovers that marketplace theft has occurred, the offending profile might receive a temporary suspension or permanent ban from the Xbox network, depending on the severity of the theft.
https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/family-online-safety/enforcement/protecting-players-from-marketplace-theft-and-solicitation Steam:
To protect our users from additional unknown charges, any accounts and purchases associated with the chargebacks are restricted. The quickest way to remove the restriction on your Steam account is for the owner of the payment method to contact their bank and to reverse the dispute. Once the funds are returned to Steam, the restriction is automatically removed, and the disputed content is restored to your account. Not until I connect with a personal Bungie Support, I'll discuss this further matter.
-
Good luck lol
-
thanks 😎
-
Well let me talk to an bungie support, now that I can't even play which is unacceptable
-
Bungie support does not override the security policy. The only option for deactivation is awaiting out the time frames.
