Probably will be brought back in Frontiers. I don't think Frontiers will be us going to new planets outside the solar system as a lot of players are speculating. Bungie are masters of recycling after all.

As much as I would love to see something new outside our solar system, I am afraid this will most likely be the way bungie goes. Just rehash already made maps of old planets and call the quests something, something to try and make it feel new and exiting.
