So I read the code of conduct and understand the terms and conditions, but no where did my name violate the terms and it was changed by Bungie to the standard Guardian#xxxx. Now I can’t change anything at all and it’s locked.
Is there anyway to get this resolved when other players have profanity in their name and get to keep their name?

What was your previous name? If your name was changed, then it’s because your name was reported and Bungie found it violated their code of conduct. All players get a maximum of two name changes. If you haven’t used up these changes, then you can change your name again. If you don’t, then you’re stuck with the current name. If you see offensive names, report them and Bungie will take action. I’m always reporting such things and Bungie does indeed review the report and take action against the player.
Just seen your previous name. Yup, that name 100% violations Bungie’s policies
-
7 AntwortenHey there, what was the name? As for other people, bad names are only good for as long as it takes for them to get reported. It is not a case of them being allowed or accepted. Just report them.

There is no appeals process for when Bungie changes your name. Whatever it was, Bungie felt it violated ToS. If you don't have any changes left then you are stuck with the name you have now. Bungie relies on reports from other users when changing names. Your name was reported and Bungie took action because they felt it violated ToS. If you see others with names that are inappropriate, report them
