Cross save
i Sold my ps5 along with the account unlinked my ps and steam so i can still play destiny without him messing up my character and now they are gone and you guys have this stupid 90 day wait so now im missing out on the whole season i paid for

The wait time is mandatory - you'll need to wait the 90 days to be able to reactivate cross-save. You're warned about this several times during setup and you also need to tick 2 boxes that tell you about it. https://i.imgur.com/R8ggG0Y.png

The 90 day wait is a security feature to stop people from abusing the system. We didn’t have this cool down when they first introduced cross save but people quickly took advantage of it for malicious means so Bungie had to introduce that 90 day wait to stop them. Blame the community not Bungie. -
Unfortunately that Bungies policy. Also be aware your data from cross save never transfered from their main source. Your characters are permanently bound to the system that created them.

The characters are tied to the ps account. So you needed to keep cross save active if you wanted to still use those characters. 90 day wait is mandatory
