Honestly, there's nothing to do. When you break it down, there are only 9 actual steps to a seasonal mission that's also weekly time gated .
The game just feels... dead?

Would've been nice if Deep Dives and Salvage didn't share the same areas each week ESPECIALLY DEEP DIVES Enter the Abyss Kill the boss Oh wait the boss room is in the same place as week 1 and 2 lmao
-
Season is basically 2 levels and fishing.....yay
-
It's on the verge of dying. Kudos to Bungie for aptly naming the last expansion 'Final Shape'. Seriously though, it's sad that it's more fun to trash talk this game then actually play it.
-
The game is active but my question is why? D2 is in state that is almost similar to curse of Osiris on how boring the game is right now.
-
2.5 weeks into the season and it already feels like 11.5 weeks.
-
The only thing I'm enjoying is the latest dungeon and it's gear so far.
-
Enjoyed last season, this season is a no for me. Some I enjoy some I don't.
-
I feel like I am done. This game is just taxing to play. Getting the patterns for weapons, then leveling those weapons to be usable, then farming the mats for enhanced perks. That alone killed all enjoyment I once had for this game. Then seasonal activities have you grind them into oblivion for ornaments, ritual weapon, and titles…. I’m done. I don’t want to do this, I don’t want to grind something I really don’t find fun anymore.
-
Nope. Im enjoying my time in Destiny. If your bored and there is nothing for you to do then you probably need something else to stimulate your excitement.
-
Bored? No Frustrated? Yes. Only two Salvage bosses sucks.
-
The game went from an all time 316k peak player count to 186k at new season launch, and is now barely breaking 100k on reset day. Yes it's old, yes it's boring, just a cookie cutter afterthought and a lot of people are tired of it. If you still like it, great! I wish I still did. But don't act like everyone who is feeling like the OP has an invalid opinion, the numbers say people aren't hanging around. Stop gaslighting and championing for a company that clearly had more important priorities than this game.

Bearbeitet von hate n payne: 6/9/2023 2:47:04 PMFatigue is definitely not the cause. The game just has not embraced the potential players seek and probably never will. The developers try to hold it in high regards via how they believe the game looks to them but it doesnt hold a candle to a game that achieves it naturally. Calling Destiny a “MMORPG” was the first red flag when they should have been humble enough to call it a “ARPG”. When you belittle your community by adding nonchalant content and hype it up as “Never before seen”, it kills the thrill and potential the game should naturally achieve.

Diablo 4

Pshhh, you think entertainment keeps this game flowing? It’s addiction! *echo echo*
-
Yep I've not actually logged in on this season yet can't find the motivation

Bearbeitet von PURExRAGE23: 6/8/2023 10:04:02 PMFor someone like me who has been no lifeing d2 since season 13 i love that I actually have time to play other games now and can still get all triumphs done for seasons/events and seasonal challenges and enjoy it/play with friends instead of playing it like its a 9-5 job on a tight schedule with all the stuff i had to get done: • pre season bounty grind • power cap/artifact power speed run (day 1 raid/dungeon prep) • all playlist plus ib resets twice • weekly trails flawless farming for god rolls • all seasonal challenges • all seasonal triumphs • all raid triumphs • all dungeon triumphs • all event triumphs • any new seals • seasonal red border grind • raid red border grind • weapon leveling • adjusting/build crafting to the ever changing meta • armor farming • exotic armor farming • weapon god roll farming Some of this is wayyyyy easier now: • power grind is gone (saves 2-3 weeks of playtime) • exotics are more actively farmable with high stat rolls and spikes • exotics from playlists now • can force a specific amount of red borders Alot of this could be done at the same time to maximise efficiency but even then takes an insane amount of time where as now its much more chilled out mostly because power grind is gone so we have an extra 2-3 weeks to get all that done if thats your thing and if you only play for fun or to max the season pass can agree game has been dead in the water for a while now
-
You can fish, lol.
-
Its being run by a skeleton crew 100%. Indie devs release dlc with less bugs in each expansion and more content for less money.
-
Yup. Dead in week 3 I think that's a record lol. Of course I have literally everything from the dungeon so that helps. Level 20 Sorcerer in Diablo!

Bearbeitet von Quiet_Bushi: 6/9/2023 4:57:23 PMPersonally speaking -and only personally- I find that the game right now is very, very boring. I've reached the point in which I launch the game, look at the directory in Orbit and then Log Out and go play something else. It's not that there's nothing to do. There are many things to do in the game, both PvE and PvP stuff... but everything feels meaningless. I feel that the game is... hallow. Like never before. There's nothing that really brings me to play it. Nothing that gives me that "Yeah! I wanna do that!" kind of vibe.
-
I won't agree that the game feel dead its just the same feeling that's been a thing for a year now Its called fatigue ....the same game for this many years without any break would cause anyone fatigue Best way to fix it is to play other games or find other activities in between As for this season The removal of power grind showed that some of their seasonal goals are way too Grindy still Resting the 3 core vendor every season to put in a new weapon and some ornament (that you need almost 2 reset )is becoming a bit too much to do every season and feel out of place when they been making stuff less time consuming
-
I don't play raids, dungeons, or any lfg content anymore, but I'm still having fun with the seasonal content.
-
I haven’t played since May 29th 🤷🏼♂️
-
For the first time in a long time, yep. Logged on once this season but quickly realised there's not much to do haha But it's also due to the weather improving and also Zelda being released. If this was winter and no Zelda, I would prob make the effort to get my dungeon grind on. I just CBA lol
-
I do not feel bored with the game, but some of its issues -- server problems, difficulty level on Neomuna, triumphs not updating -- have influenced me to reduce my playing time and pursue other activities than D2.
-
funny, I was chatting with one of the people I play with regularly, and she said it feels like the last two weeks of a season right now. I agreed, only thing I'm looking forward to is guilding conquerer again. once I do that, I'm out for the rest of the season. there needs to be more engaging content if the power grind is gone. I can now see why bungie was so reluctant to get rid of the power grind. it's all they had left.
