Resistance mods aren't working. Weapon perks aren't activating. PVP is falling apart. Instead of fixing problems things are either nerfed or ignored for the duration of an entire season. If anything benefits a player it is fixed in just moments though. Inflation of microtransactions. The quality of life improvements are 1 step forward 2 steps back. They backed themselves into a hole. Bungie is motivated by money with their resources being devoted to Marathon. They can't finish what they've started. You'd think with that heap Sony gave them they'd be doing better. Sad to say they were doing better with Activision. I've been a devout Destiny fan since September 2014, but I've about had enough.

Highlight of d2 was 2 months just before lightfall then bungie listened to the no lifers and streamers and made the game just un fun in general They put in commendations and fishing before actual dedicated mm for all content as an option something that's been asked for years as far as I'm concerned I will never buy another game by bungie after seeing how this game has been treated

Just thought this, in the nightfall, hero, 100 resilience & double arc resist mods, yet everytime the boss shoots me I died straight away, I used to be able to withstand that with just 7 recovery, happened to all 3 of us over & over.
-
While you're NOT wrong, you said yourself you're still going to PLAY THE GAME. Why TF would they change something that isn't broken in thier eyes?!? We either stop playing or stop whining too deaf ears

press that uninstall button

Try different game? I’m about to start Harry Potter 👍

Bearbeitet von eternal_napalm: 6/6/2023 7:21:45 PMDestiny 2 is about done. I will play Final Shape but I'm out after I finish the campaign and that 1st season.

Marathon will be a bust anyways... i can already feel it in my forehead. And yes i hate it too that Bungie is quicker than Buster Scruggs to disable anything that benefits a player. But takes months to years to fix gamebreaking bugs or their servers. it just sucks that Bungie always shows us where their priorities are

Bearbeitet von SnakeEyes734: 6/5/2023 11:38:27 PMLol my biggest concern is the Destiny monetization! We now have 30 dollar exclusive eververse bundles. A ghost, ship, sparrow bundle now cost HALF the price of the damn game itself! * Sure just don't buy it, but how many of these things in the future will be held back from the game for eververse? Where is our promised new vendor armour sets? Eververse has had like 3-4 of them already
-
Yup nothing without activision, same boring season after another
-
Play Diablo 4, it's better.
-
What makes you think resistance mods arent working? What weapon perks arent working? Sony didnt just give them a heap of money that's not how it works.
-
The developers are pretty much done too.

A company's strongest motivation should always be money. You're not going anywhere if you can't keep the lights on, and you're not developing anything if you can't pay people to be there. It's OK though. Bungie is making an Extraction Shooter! If any of you out there don't like Gambit, Crucible, or Eager Edge griefing, Bungie just said -blam!- off! Our new game isn't for you!
-
Wait, you're saying a multi million dollar company is motivated by money?!?! Well that's certainly very strange 🤔 #mindblown

I’m about the same. Maybe it’s just time. I used to wait for reset to do the pinnacle rewards. Now that those are gone I don’t have a reason to log into each character and clear that. I’m not sure why I found it a reason to always log in, but I did. I’m already tired of the seasonal activity and didn’t touch IB. Add the fact I have a new gf and the weather is pleasant for outdoor activities
-
You know I get it but I would be bummed if this game went away. They just need to change the season stuff and go back to D1 expansions like a fella said on this thread. He is absolutely correct.

Bearbeitet von xbroggiex: 6/5/2023 10:12:04 PMDestiny itself is about done I think. Can only keep an FPS game like this going on so long before it just becomes just too repetitive or too old. I don't think the seasonal model keeps Destiny fresh enough even with constant delivery of "new" content. For instance I'm starting to care less and less about dungeons because while its nice we get them every other season they start to feel less and less polished. Ghosts of the Deep has less weapons than previous dungeons which usually include 4 new weapons along with 2 reprised weapons, which ghosts has 4 new guns but none that are reprised. Dungeon also feels more balanced around 3 man groups to do within a reasonable amount of time, that and some encounters also just taking too long in general like the first one doesn't make it enjoyable or even worthwhile to farm the weapons from the dungeon. I'd much rather prefer more expansions(CoO or Warmind size) that are highly polished and deliver everything upfront on release and might try something experimental like CoO's Infinite Forest or Warmind's Escalation Protocol. Even taking a break isn't enough, if you stopped playing in say Season of the Risen and started playing again now? You are pretty much doing the exact same thing you were doing in Risen especially so with Defiance's content.

Take a break.
-
The chances of it being actually good again are very low.

Bearbeitet von vxvxTITANxvxv: 6/5/2023 9:00:29 PMbunji already stated that all the people will continue to play because they’re either invested or addicted, so quality is a non-factor. With that being true, they can work on all the other IP’s that their sony overloads are whipping them to do. So, it’s a good time to be done with destiny.
-
Ur 1814 trying to do a legend lost sector which is 1830 🤦♂️ Resistance mods do work but bro you’re below light and u gotta play better ._.
-
Play one of the many games that you haven’t tried. That’s what I do when I’m burnt out on destiny.
-
Bet you jump back on tomorrow no problem
