It's a known issue, Empowered Finish cannot be used alongside another Finisher mod after Thursday's hotfix.

Yeah but it weaseling you to title on load out equip is not a known issue

It is a known issue caused by equipping an incompatible loadout.

Idk, I searched for a solution and nothing came up anywhere so it must not be that well documented

The solution is to replace the loadout with one that does not contain disabled mods/mod combinations.

Where does it say this in game. Kicking you to the title screen with a "network error" is not a known issue. It's a bug Bungie need to fix. I haven't seen it mentioned
