Yea, I just did. After all dungeon encounters being disappointing with no way to improve it, more feelings of helplessness to improve a bad situation are inbound. I’m seriously contemplating taking an indefinite hiatus from the game. This is a step backwards and they don’t like what I feel like is the best addition to the game that actually got me to play more. I don’t like feeling helpless to improve a bad situation. Does anybody?

Yeah. I wanted to quit the game shortly before Witch Queen because damn, seasons were grindy. Especially chosen. Then Bungie announced crafting and I had hope. I expected they slowly add it to all weapons in the game and now this. Just because some people liked the "chase" of rng drops. Gambling addicted idiots. Ffs.

Most of the other changes sound good. Like the difficulty increase to vanguard ops and Neomuna patrol. I think that’s a great change, but I don’t my ability to get and use what I want for them to be neutered.

Yeah.. this just overshadows everything else for me right now. Well they said long term weapons wont be craftable. Feels like seasonal stuff will stay and I hope raids are still an exception. But everything else will never be craftable and we know this now. Atleast I can stop hoping for it.

It’s going to create a very inconsistent experience. On the one hand, you may get your god roll for a new weapon immediately, and be able to upgrade it with enhanced perks. On the other hand, you may not see it for several seasons and then never even get to use it when it’s relevant.

Like it was for years and it always was bad design. They need to let us change the masterwork, barrels and mag options. We wouldnt even need crafting if the rng would be fair.
