The time it takes to level em up, just to spend thousands of materials and 2 Ascendant Alloys for enhanced perks that BARELY differ from normal is ridiculous.
It took me 4 crucible matches per one level on my Heritage (24% each match)
And for what? For a level 19 enhanced perk that gives plus 5 range versus the normal perk?
Time isn't actually worth the reward.
Look up enhanced perks versus the normal ones and you'll see why most of my weapons I just stick to the god rolls I got.

I seldom masterwork a crafted gun unless it is a great weapon that I know I'll put a lot of miles on and won't be changing the perks. I've only done that to four total. The rest I just keep normal, with a few that are fully leveled but are low cost to change rolls on for different builds.

I masterwork em cause I am constantly deleting Ascendant Alloys, so I figure I might as well use em.
