How much of your Steam library is Steam Deck compatible?

A handful are verified, most are reported as playable. I should probably have a google through individual games to check specific compatibility.

I've never bothered looking at one just becuse I'd always be making myself use it instead of needing to.

I mostly just want one because I’m weird and don’t want a multipurpose computer. The laptop I have is for writing, and basically only for writing. No video games allowed. I did occasionally use my old one to also watch movies, but my new one doesn’t have a disc drive, so now no movies either.

If someone wants to play PC games but doesn't have a pc, I still find it a hard sell. There's only a couple that are verified that aren't already on console.

Yeah, I haven’t really looked into it that much. This is actually my first time hearing of this whole “verified” thing. I don’t really play my games mobile, either. My Switch is more or less permanently docked, and even my 3DS I basically only ever played at home. So, it’d probably be smarter to just get a PC if I go for it, but then I gotta deal with, like, specs and stuff.

This is a good point.
