They are absolutely garbage even with the aspect and the exotic. They either need to do more damage or actually track for more then .3 seconds before exploding.
There is no reason for the grenade to not even one shot but do horrible damage AND have a long cooldown. Either you buff the damage or lower the cooldown, but one needs to happen. I feel like the only reason they haven't touched scatter nades is because warlocks have nothing manacles and the aspect. It's okay if warlocks have strong tools Bungie lol.
The base version of this grenade is extremely good. You will do 90%-100% of your enemies HP instantly if you hit them with it. It’s just high instant damage that can one hit if placed just right. Even if it doesn’t one shot, it still does a ton of damage.

It is my go to grenade for Void besides Magnetic and Void grenade. The exotic is just as bad it was in D1. Just change the Scatter grenade out for a different one or several ones ie a Non-Charging One. I love placing a Barricade and watching enemies or players rush me while I back pedal just to throw a scatter grenade or any grenade at the Barricade.

Thats only if they are very still simply strafing to the side negates most of the damage even with the exotic on. They have way too much counter play.

If you can aim, you do not need the tracking. The nade is for high instant damage and is by far one of the best nades in the game.

Lmaoo sure, if they are in a narrow hallway. Vortex does the same job 10x better.
Lmaoo sure, if they are in a narrow hallway. Vortex does the same job 10x better.
It works in any location. And no, vortex nades do not deal instant 180 to 200+ damage. Again, all you need to be able to do is aim before throwing.

So you think they don't need any changes and are fine like they are?
So you think they don't need any changes and are fine like they are?
The base grenade is one of the strongest grenade in the entire game. The tracking versions could use a rework, but the base version is extremely good as is.

It's maybe strong on paper, but there is a reason they aren't used my guy lol. I wouldn't even put them in top 5 on void nades.

Suppressor nades almost one shot, over a wide range lol.
Suppressor nades almost one shot, over a wide range lol.
Suppressor nades don’t do nearly enough damage to one shot and have a delay on their explosion. The damage range on them is also very small. Only the supresssion range is wide. Again, scatter nades are instant high damage that will either make a player one shot or outright kill them.
