Hey Guardian. There's no hate towards Warlocks by Bungie, and at the same time it's not true that Hunters are theyr favorite or such things.
Cyclically speaking there are always periods in which one of three Classes feels [i](or is)[/i] less performative compared to others either in PvE or PvP or both. We had periods in which Hunters were almost uselss in PvE, others in which Walorcks were OP in PvP and so on for all three of them.
Right now Warlocks are in that situation Give Bungie sometimes and with the classic [i](and regulary slow and late)[/i] buff/nerfs things will be regulated again.

There has never been balance since D1 the warlocks always get screwed. Remember our shotgun grenade was to "OP" but titans get there charge melee and hunters an insta kill knife to the head.

I'm pretty sure you know that is not true and right now you're talking out of frustation =/ Warlocks had theyr periods of broken stuff exaclty as Hunters and Titans had theyrs. Super-fast flying Dawnblades, infinite range Handle-Nova, infinite Chaos Reach with Geomags, the Rifts spam meta, the first period with Stasis with the super-tracking infinite range Melee ecc. Some of them required months to be fixd/nerfed exactly as for Hunters and Titans. You're right to be mad about the current state of Warlocks and Bungie needs to do something, but try to don't generalyze in the way you're doing. People won't take you seriously and you're feedback will be just take as a mindless rant.

The flying dawn blades is normal and is still around, the geomags never made chaos reach infinite and throwing a nova cross map is easy since D1 days in my first one your missing the point of the fact as the fun and unique features were either Buchered or full on removed from the class and that's just void I'm talking about

Before that, during Forsaken, Voidwalker Handle Nova + Contraverse Hold [i](before rework/nerf)[/i] allowed to spam one-hit kill Grenades all over the Map and Nova Warp was the strongest Super around with Hunters' Blade Barrage. Also this required months to fix. And yeah, Dawnblades are still able to flying around, but not as before with all the tweaks arrived and now with AE changes they can't do stuff they were able before. As I said, also Warlocks had theyr period of brokeness. Don't pretend these things never happend. It doesn't help... But yeah, you're right: I went sidetracks. Let's go back to the point. I agree with you that Warlocks are in a bad spot right now both in PvP and PvE and they definetely need help. Also that it seems they've lost aspects of theyr uniqueness [i](expecially the Solar Sublclass for what Ican see)[/i], they lack of flavor as you said. Still, this doesn't mean that Bungie "hates" them. All three Classes went throught a similar situation throught the years. Specifically speaking for the activation of Devour throught absorbing you're own Grenade, I don't know why Bungie did this. Probably because it was too easy to Activate a powerful Buff like it in that way. It's unlikely it will return, but currently Voidwalker is still one of the strongest and easiest Subclass to use in PvE, probably the best of all Warlock Subclasses.

Deactivating and charging chaos reach was not an issue because the remaining energy was between a quarter to a third of its charge and the geomagnetic only gave around a 3 - 5% charge after 1.5 second of sprinting to activate. Nova warp couldn't use the charge grenade while active but I will say that its teleport was OP at start and first hot fix broke it. Dawn blades can still be super fast in air and the air dodge now takes even more energy to fly fast even with exotics on as to arcstriders that can block all incoming attacks or completely dodge every thing with next to no lose to energy. If you are trying to say that this game is for a more intellectual crowd I has some sad news for you "Guardian"

It's sad to perceive such hostility expecially when I've already agreed with you that Bungie should help Warlocks both in PvP and PvE not once but twice. No one here is attacking you neither criticizing your opinion, just trying to give you a more realistic and mature prospective of how things are in the game you care of like everyone else here that [i]"Bungie hates Warlocks that's why they suck"[/i]. Geomags were nerfed exactly for the reason I've described to you. If you don't remember it or believe me, you can check both YT videos of that period and read the TWAB of the time that talked of the problem. Also there are Tweets of DMG responding to players concerned back in the days. Never said that Nova Warp could charge the Handle Nova while active: they were two separate things. Nova Warp waas crazy strong by itself as Super and Handle Nova + Contraverse Hold allowed one hit kill Grenades spam at crazy range. Again, you can check this on YT videos if you don't remember. Probably I could write thousands messages you wouldn't change your mind. Sometimes it simply can't be helped. Hope Bungie will buff Warlocks soon and re-give them some sort of fantasy identity it seems they've lost with Light Subclasses 3.0.

No I get what your saying i do but when you first came in you talk to people as if there 2 because I used "hate" in the title its to be unironic, and I have seen those videos all before cross platform and these never worked for me to recreate on console.

Geomags then provided 20% when topping off. Making it take less than a third of the time to get another super.
