They should at least stop you from joining a match that's literally ending like I once joined an activity and it ended before I even loaded in
-
I joined at least 2 matches that were already in progress of losing by a huge majority. Why would I want to stay in that match? Especially if I'm trying to do bounties or other stuff. Why punish me for something that negatively affects my experience?
-
Because you leaving negatively effect all of your team not just you.
-
I stay in games that I started in regardless of whether we are winning or losing, but I shouldn't be punished for getting thrown into a losing match.
-
Which is why the deserter penaties exist in the first place to lower the amount of quitters and stop us being put into those matches. They need to invrease the penaly imo forbit to have any real effect, hell ban bailers from trials for the week if they cant hack sticking through casual playlists.

Right I get why the original person should get the penalty but if I'm taking that spot and the game is already down the drain, why should the person filling that role get punished? That makes no sense.
-
Agree with you there but that would take too much resources to police and differentiate sadly so they do what they have done and it effects all quitting regardless of poor connection be it on player or bungies end, leaving for legit reasons or otherwise. Sadly the current penalties have only had a limited effect and we still get put into matches in progress. Those matches I just use to try different loadouts personally or even a change of tactics sometimes Ive found great builds by doing so.

How does that logic makes sense? Am expected to clutch up for a losing team? What about my experience? Why not just throw me into a fresh match? I don't mind waiting longer.
