As a long time Destiny veteran since Destiny 1, ever since Bungie implemented too many monetization on seasonal story access and dungeon access keys. It becoming harder for new players to come to Destiny with all these limitations. Even worse, the expansion dlc content as well as it's stories, strikes and raids are also limited. Even with cross save, Destiny 2 players are unable to access those activities in other platforms unless they have to buy all those same dlc again. Here are a list of suggestions I have that would not only improve the way Destiny introduced itself to new players but also can help improve activities in the game. (Note: these suggestions are based on my experience on a few other live service games that isn't Destiny 2) 1. No More Monetization on Seasonal Story content. Let all the players have full access to the full seasonal story experience without the need to pay to participate in the season story for free. 2. No More Paying to access Dungeons. Forcing people to pay a dungeon key in order to access Dungeons in certain dlc is unreasonable, especially since it would be a waste of money if those same dungeons become free to access once lightfall becomes active or worse those dungeons would be unaccessable for those that didn't pay a dungeon key for that previous year. 3. Stories, Powers and Planet Access Earned by Grinding and Level Up. Make destiny access to destinations and story quests a play to access experience, have new players play and grind to gain access to light and darkness powers without the need to obtain a specific dlc to access said powers. 4. Monetized Just Cosmetics Contents and Season Pass Stuff. Focus the monetization on just cosmetic in game contents because many free to play players are more than willing to pay on making their characters look cool. 5. Monetized Instant Access to Exotics. Also give the players the option of paying to gain access to certain exotics that you cannot find in past seasons or dlc contents. 6. Customizable Living Quarters. Give players an option for guardians to have a in game living quarters for those that like to personalize. 7. Clan Hideout. Let clan have the option to create and customize a clan hideout that they can expand or customize with collective materials found in destiny, you can be amazed by how creative players can be.
