To shed some light on the extent these people will go to, here's an example: i said to a dude that i'd like to have a solo option for matchmade activities and gave my reasoning, he said i should join a clan. The logik there got me baffled for a good minute.

Trust me. I’ve had people arguing with me against things that are literally beneficial to them. They were literally saying they didn’t want something that was objectively a net positive to happen. It confuses me so much the lengths people will go to just to disagree with you.
