Question regarding Cross Save system – character transfer?
Hey, I have a question regarding cross save.
So I have started playing the game on PS4, later I have activated Cross save system, started playing on Steam, selected active character which was therefore created on the mentioned PS4. In the cross save setting it says that the character is "From your PlayStation account".
So my question is, whether this character is basically tied to the PS platform. If I disable the Cross save system, does this character will be only playable on PS? Do I understand this correctly, that all the Cross save system does is allows you to play your characters across platforms, but does not transfer them to the said platform?
Is it possible to transfer characters completely between platforms?
Also are the DLC purchases tied to the platform?
Thank you for answers. I am really confused here.
(also please keep in mind that I know that If I just keep the Cross save on, it would answer all my questions, I have my reasons for this - they are not relevant for this discussion)

[quote]Also are the DLC purchases tied to the platform?[/quote] Licensed expansions (Forsaken Pack, ShadowKeep, Beyond Light, 30th Anniversary, and Witch Queen) are bound to the platform where you bought them. In store purchases, such as cosmetics and season passes are bound to the save file that was active at the time of purchase.
