Submachine Guns are not Automatic Rifles. They're range needs to be capped at 50, and their impact shouldn't be the same as an Assault Rifle, especially when they can run up to 900rpm.
I don't understand why everything needs to have absurd range. Why have so many different weapon types then. May as well just given us all one stick that we throw, auto locks onto targets w 100% accuracy, infinite return, and 1hks everything bosses in pve included.
The behavior of the weapons in this game, yes are fictional, but their identities defy all logic in relation to their ingame behavior. You can't just supplement range w damage and vice versa, blah blah blah. If that's the best you can come up with then I'm sorry but you're in the wrong business.
