On Sunbreaker Titan, if you throw a melee hammer, then switch to a sword before picking it up, your melee charge is eaten, and you instead have to wait for the entire melee cooldown duration to get your hammer back. I believe I understand why it works this way, but I don't believe it should work this way.
I posted about this in the issues forum and was told it was "intended behavior." I disagree that this is what was intended. For example, the description text says, "Throw a hammer from a distance. After throwing it, picking up the hammer fully recharges your melee ability." It does not say all that plus, "so long as you don't have a sword equipped." If I throw the hammer, switch to a sword, and pickup the hammer, my melee should be charged when I swap away from the sword.
I posted a link to a video of the current behavior above. You can also check out my original post in Issues.

Unless I'm mistaken, your Melee charge gets fully frozen while your sword is out, and sword charge freezes when it's stowed. I think it's because the sword charge meter replaces the melee one while wielded. I would absolutely LOVE if they fixed it so they could both recharge, i.e. swords recharge when stowed and melee recharges when sword it out
