Speculation on the Vex
Since we barely know any information about the Vex, lets speculate. Theories or anything since I am bored and mainly because Im mostly intrigued on what the Vex are since most of the ones we fight are apparently just workers. We might have already seen one of their combat units such as the Wyvern. So let's spark up some speculation on the Vex because of my boredom.

1 AntwortenThe vex originally came from the paraverse. They evolved durning the forerunner-flood war, which is why they would be the ultimate weapon to defeat the flood. Their organic component is compromised of single cell, which is too small to infect and the fact that they lack a nervous system makes them completely immune. Furthermore they course with an electrical current which fry flood super cells. They create mechanical bodies which are immune to flood infection, and since their mind is organic, they are immune to the logic plague. Additionally since their mind is so vast and great, they are immune to biological version of the logic plague. They can leap through space and time to teleport to any planet or system, making them masters of suprise attacks and difficult to contain. Finally they themselves infect organic life and planets by infusing their cells into them, breaking down biological component. So any planets they control becomes inhabitatble for flood infection. The gravemind knowing that they could not beat the vex, used advanced forerunner/precursor tech to open open a slip space portal and sent them to the destiny universe, were the vex continued their directive which they had created for use against the flood. Thos is why the vex continues to terraform world's into vex machines. This is also why the vex are so interested in mastering space and time, as they wish to travel back to their original universe so that they can defeat their old nemesis.

D1 lore implies there is something in the heart of the Vault of Glass that has to be destroyed as it is key to Taking them as a whole. PRAEDYTH: (through heavy static) They want me to send a message. The creatures (taken) will soon reach the heart of the Vault. When they do, they'll destroy the ... Once they take the Vex, they'll come for the Light. If this still exists is questionable. I wonder if the original “pattern” that escaped the Vault might still exist and is the lynchpin to the Vex.

The Vex Run Real Time Simulation. Scientists captured one Long ago and saw it making a Real Time Simulation of them. They freaked out. They then got Rasputin to Debunk it as the Vex couldn't Simulate Rasputin and he won Every time. The Vex aren't part of the "Game" and they wish and want to become part of the "Game". Vex cannot Simulate Light or Dark. The Vex are from an Alternate Dimension. From the Writings of Clovis Bray the Vex Surround a Star...which is basically their Home World. The Vex hold different Roles. There are Also Vex Minds the Do very important Jobs. The Vex use a Network so if an abnormally occurs the can act very quickly. This is just a Summary.
