peer-to-peer connections with rotating hosts is what causes it.

There is NO host.

they use a hybrid host system so you have a player host and a Bungie server host. The Bungie server host is primarily for your characters inventory though.

https://youtu.be/90RMYlWBe2Y https://youtu.be/ks5lgcCFvvE You're wrong, there is no host. Please stop spreading bad information. Every lobby has 2 bungie servers, 1 holds the map, ammo boxes, flags, capture zones, 1 holds character data like losdouts, kills, damage etc etc Then every player connects to each other, damage, movement is done player to player, you have a direct connection to each enemy player. So 1 guy lagging may only be lagging for you. You'll often kill 1 guy over n over, or he'll kill you n you can't seem to kill him. High pings caused by no region lock, people playing on really poor WiFi, crossplay desync, fireteam bias, no sbmm, it's 1 big lottery for the average player. Most shooters require 0.5 to 1.0 upload to run very smoothly, destiny requires 5.0 (which most people don't have) because of the huge amount of information going back and forth

that literally proved me right but ok.
-
Nope, there is no host. You mean a rotating host like in cod when it used to migrate hosts if the host left. A host, is 1 player that everyone runs through, this doesn't happen here.
-
So there is a host. Thank you for agreeing.

Gonna mute you now, Adiós

Aww get butt hurt.
