Resetting to default does not unbind keys. My Charged and Uncharged melee keybinds cannot reset.

Lol it's 2023 and it's still not fixed... holy -blam!-.. is this company run by interns?
-
How is this not fixed yet? Imagine being a huge gaming company and can't set up a simple unbind key option omg LOL
-
Just got this SAME ISSUE, thank god theres this work around but this was posted in AUGUST 2021... HOW IS THIS NOT FIXED YET! @Bungie @Bungie @Bungie!!! Literally just make "esc" Clear the keybind. ("DISMISS" SHOULDNT BE AN OPTION)

Bearbeitet von Wifi-Demon: 1/31/2022 8:13:20 PMI was having the same issue, and I found a pretty good work-around without having to go into your files. In your settings where you set the keybinds, set the charged and uncharged melee to the same key (+ on numpad for example) but keep auto melee on "C". Doing this allows auto melee to work as intended. Edit: I realize I'm rather late to this but hopefully this helped regardless.

same problem, wtf bungie???

I found a fix/workaround. I commented it on the comment from CAT_5_Hurricane down below if you want to see what I did/a video to help. Hope it helps!
-
Did you ever figure out how to correct the issue?
-
i have the same issue
-
Thanks bungie
-
This is really weird I don't understand why it's missing lol.
-
Yeah needs to be fixed now
-
I'm having the same issue. This really needs to be fixed.

Having the same issue. You gotta edit your keybind file manually it seems. Can't believe they don't have a key like ESC be used to remove bindings.

Bearbeitet von Smelly 5x7 Rug: 8/27/2021 11:52:19 PMI also have this dilemma. There needs to be a button to unbind keys Edit: I deleted my CVARS.old and CVARS files but that didn't do anything. Only reset my video settings for graphics details and HDR. Resetting the keybinds to default doesn't change much of anything, only the UI Shortcuts and Common sections. This is pretty sad TBH.
