Little Nightmares. I’m not generally a fan of horror games, but this one is fantastic!
Haven’t played the sequel yet, but I’m planning on picking it up relatively soon.

It’s fun. But it’s definitely scariest in the opening section when you don’t really see the first creepy dude, just his arm and they let your imagination do the heavy lifting. A chase sequence or too is fine to preserve the tension for me, but then the baddies become more of a presence in the rooms and it lost a lot of their fear. I stopped feeling uneasy by the end of long-arm creep and was just playing to see what happened next. Great game though. Great creepy atmosphere. And a better balance on difficulty than some other of those games manage.

I can agree with that, at least through the middle section. I never thought the janitor stopped being scary, and I thought the shadow lady was creepy all the way through, but the kitchen segment was definitely the least scary part of the game. Part of that probably came from gow much more “present” they were compared to the other two. That being said, I felt scared through basically the while game, so it wasn’t a huge issue for me.

I thought it was a pretty decent length, myself.
