So Bungie has steadily brought old D1 exotics into D2 and a few legendary D1 weapons like Felwinter’s Lie and now The Swarm, Palindrome and Shadow Price and just about every ToO weapon. I’m of the opinion that new weapons should be made, but if Bungie continues to bring old fan favorites that are exclusive to certain playlists like The Swarm is to the nightfall or The Messenger is to ToO, then how about bringing back fan favorite D1 Crucible weapons like the Zombie Apocalypse, Two to the Morgue and Event Horizon that you can only get for playing regular Crucible with a higher chance at getting them from the competitor playlist? Or even old D1 Iron Banner fan favorites like The Clever Dragon, Silimar’s Wrath, Jolder’s Hammer, Radegast’s Fury, Saladin’s Vigil, The Distant Star, The Silvered Dread that can, obviously, be obtained from playing Iron Banner. Maybe even add some D1 faction weapons into the world loot pool. Some weapons like The Wormwood sidearm from FWC, the Hung Jury scout rifle from Dead Orbit or the Vanquisher AR from New Monarchy. Perhaps I’m in the minority here, idk. I want Bungie to keep coming up with new weapons as much as the next guy wants them to, but I figure if Bungie decides to continue bringing back old fan favorites to the Nightfall and Trials game modes, why not extend them to regular Crucible, Iron Banner and world loot pools too.
