- more vehicles
- improved story
- greater weapon variety
- thematic dungeons
- maybe an online aspect
- improved champion ability recharge (ex: ravioli’s gale continuously recharges)
- better inventory management system
Yeah, I’m excited for BOTW2!
What other changes should there be?

Majora's Mask used to be my favorite LOZ game but after playing BotW I was forced to reconsider. This is a game that focuses on the joy of exploration so much so while refusing to sacrifice fun. It lacks bosses yes, and yes the final one was certainly a disappointment. And yes, after all of this time, I still hate the weapon breaking system. But this game successfully held together a formula that rarely works for me. They did this well enough to keep me entertained for 240 hours over two playthroughs. What I would fix for the sequel for the few things that weren't my favorite. -FIX THE HORRIBLE WEAPON SYSTEM. I hate it like massively. WHY DOES THE MASTER SWORD BREAK GAHHHH -Make the main cities more interesting. Zora's Domain was a blast, but the rest were lukewarm to me. Rito Village was decent but too small, The Gerudo one felt like a maze, and the Goron one was just boring. I feel like they could have done better here. -Add more bosses. Please? and don't make them dry like Ganon. -Make the combat system a little more thrilling. There was nothing particularly annoying about combat in this game, but I never felt cool sword dueling. Ocarina of Time had a good thing going, why change it?

More awesomeness. But that is nearly impossible with how awesome the first is.

Bearbeitet von Shin Malphur: 1/11/2021 3:15:15 AMEasier terrain for horse traversal Smarter horse ai(it’s a 1/2 foot tall rock, you can jump it) No weapon breaking Less shrine quests Make sheikah sensor vibrate instead of beep Edit: I honestly wouldn’t mind if they reused the same open world if there were significant changes to it(ex. More rebuilt, old structures fixed, etc. imagine if akkala fortress was rebuilt as a safe zone. That would be awesome!)

-Drop the open world -Better dungeons -Better bosses -Bring back dungeon items -No more free climbing -Don’t be anything like BotW

Honestly I started playing the game and my main issues are the lack of dungeon variety, the starting inventory is the size of my wee wee and the lack of enemy variety, but those opinions might change because I only have 2 of the beasts done so far oH wElL

Bearbeitet von Ghostmime: 1/10/2021 5:06:35 PMMy only issues with the first BotW were: 1) The small number of cutscenes. I thought the cutscenes we got were excellent, there just needed to be more of them. 2) The bosses. Especially the first phase against Ganon (pig was cool though), the bosses just weren't very compelling. 3) Way too many shrines and koroks. Even though I loved BotW I got nowhere near 100%, because like most open worlds, there was simply too much filler. If BotW2 fixes those issues, plus delivers on the darker, moodier tone and more atmospheric world and story we were shown in the trailer, then I'll be very happy. Edit: Also forgot about the lack of enemy variety. Less bokoblin clones and more other Zelda enemies like redeads and the ghosts I can't remember the name of would be great!

There should be guns
-
Dungeon items I love dungeon items, the phantom hourglass boomerang was my childhood
-
All I really want is local co op and a new world, since it's possible they will re use the one in botw.

What other changes should there be?
I like most of your list. I want Hyrule in BOTW to feel different from Hyrule in the first BOTW, so that exploration continues to feel fresh and exciting. But at the same time, I want it to recognisable as being the same Hyrule ( for continuity purposes ). Dungeons. I miss dungeons. The Shrines of the first game quickly became repetitive. No more motion controls ( or at least make them optional ). The worst shrines in BOTW were the ones that forced you to use the gyroscopic controls.

I'm hoping the twili make a return. Therr seemed to be hints of such.

That I don't need to have finished the first one. I'll probably want to try it out, but I barely know anything about BotW as I just got bored.
